Patricia Carter is a Maryland and Virginia hunt country equine artist. She specializes in portraying animals and their owners. Pat's sporting paintings, dog portraits, indeed pet portraits of all kinds benefit from her familiarity with her subject matter and a lifetime involvement with horses, fox hounds and horse sports. Kesra Hoffman, a native of Middletown, has been painting landscape of her home and travels since 1996. Growing up in an area rich with farmland and forests cultivated within her passion for the natural world. As a child, traveling worldwide with her parents instilled a desire to share her excitement for the beauty around her. Kesra's medium of choice for painting landscapes is gouache a versatile water-based paint, although she also enjoys using acrylic to paint wall murals. Mary Garwood is well known in Frederick County for her watercolors of both local and foreign scenes. She is formally trained here and abroad, and has shown at the Delaplaine and Strathmore Galleries, National Wildlife Federation, and additonal locations throughout the Washington/Baltimore metropolitan area.
